What’s the Difference Between Men’s & Women’s Skis?

Women's specific skis can have a softer flex than men's and often have shorter turn radius' making them more nimble. Ladies ski and binding packages often have the binding mounted further forward as ladies often have a lower center of gravity and this helps turn the ski with less effort. Women often want lightweight skis and manufactures are achieving this by adding lightweight materials such as Carbon, Kyorod, Graphene and Titanal Alloy or Ti.

Volkl, K2, Head, and Salomon all offer excellent carving skis if you mostly ski on piste and prefer a narrower ski. Since they are smaller underfoot, you can move from edge to edge very quickly. Just keep in mind to consider how much time you will spend on various terrain types when choosing your women's skis, and then choose a ski that will manage all the circumstances that are likely to be in front of you on your ski adventures.

What Types of Women’s Skis are there?
