The Best Ski Jackets of 2022

If it’s time to update your ski gear and choose a new jacket, look no further! Anoraks are making a comeback this year with multiple styles available from Oakley, Roxy and Picture. Many brands are opting to use recycled fabrics to reduce their footprint, with some jackets made out of coastline waste and sugar! We have selected some of our favourite new arrivals for this year's ski jacket range.

    Picture Object Ski Jacket

The Picture Object Jacket is designed for freeride flexibility and warmth. Like most technical garments made by Picture, the Object Jacket is made from recycled materials. The fabric is produced using sugar cane waste and then manufactured into the jacket you see here. The Object Jacket features Pictures DRYPLAY 20k/15k waterproof and breathable membrane and fully taped seams to keep you dry all day without getting sweaty. It also has 60g of Thermal STD insulation paired with body mapping technology so that you don't feel any cold spots. Text

    Descente Martin Ski Jacket

The Martin Ski Jacket from Descente is a lightweight jacket with a 4-way stretch. Descente has used an eco-friendly lining made with lightweight hollow threads to create warmth without insulation. This lightweight lining makes it easy to layer for different weather conditions. The Martin is also highly ventilated with underarm vents and a highly breathable waterproof membrane. Its bright colour will have you standing out in any crowd.

    Oakley TNP Insulated Anorak

The TNP Insulated Anorak is a sleek, futuristic pullover jacket with retro vibes. Oakley has used Thinsulate for high-quality insulation that stays dry even on a wet day. They have also used FN DRY 10K laminate to provide water repellency and stretch to the jacket. The TNP Insulated anorak features an RFID pass pocket, underarm vents and a powder skirt. The best part of the Oakley outerwear range is that each jacket matches the season's goggle and helmet colourways. So it's easy to match your outfit to the rest of your gear.

Rip Curl Freeride Seach Ski Jacket

The Freeride Search Jacket is a new addition to Rip Curl’s premium snow range. The jacket is made using recycled fabric made from coastline waste and recycled polyester insulation. The Freeride Search Jacket utilises Primaloft Insulation and a 20K/20K waterproof and breathable membrane so you will be warm and dry all day long. It also features pit zips, a goggle pocket and wrist cuffs. Rip Curl has entered the technical outerwear game, and we like it!

    Karbon Helium Ski Jacket

The Helium Jacket from Karbon is a technical ski jacket designed in Australia! It is the closest thing you will find to the team kit that the Australian Winter Olympians wore at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The Helium jacket features a 4-way stretch fabric, Karbons ‘Karbonite’ 20,000 waterproofing membrane, and Thermore Ecodown compact insulation. This jacket is made to move with your body and keep you warm and dry in freezing temperatures. The hood is also removable, adjustable, and helmet-compatible. There is even a goggle wipe in one of the pockets! Karbon has thought of everything.

    Toni Sailer Ayla Ski Jacket

The Ayla ski jacket is a sporty yet functional snow jacket with a fashion focus. It looks like it walked straight off the runway and onto the slopes. The Ayla features a 20k/20K waterproof and breathable membrane within the 4-way stretch fabric on the outer shell. The inner lining is also stretchy to allow maximum freedom of movement. The shoulder area is made with an extra layer of taped material to ensure durability when carrying skis. It has plenty of pockets, a removable hood and clips for additional fur trims. Its sleek design is jam-packed with all the essential features of a premium ski jacket.

Spyder Schatzi GTX Infinium Ski Jacket

The Schatzi Jacket is a classic, slimline ladies jacket from Spyder. This modern jacket has all the technical features needed to keep you warm and dry on cold, snowy days. It offers unbeatable wet weather protection with the GTX Infinium membrane, DWR coating and taped seams and zips. For insulation, Spyder has used Primaloft Silver in this jacket to mimic down without the bulk. The fabric used is also stretchy and will allow for a full range of movements when skiing. Thumbhole wrist cuffs and a removable, helmet-compatible hood is the cherry on top of the Schatzi GTX Infinuim Ski jacket.

    Kjus Momentum Ski Jacket

The Kjus Momentum Jacket is puffy style ski jacket with plenty of technical features. The puffy chambers are filled with premium down and Kjus Fast Thermo Core Insulation to keep you super warm. The down and insulation are then paid with Kjus own ventilation system to release extra heat and redistribute the heat through the jacket, so you don't get too hot. There is a dedicated phone pocket lined with Graphene to stop your phone from getting cold and running out of battery. The Momentum Ski Jacket comes with a neck gaiter and has a removable hood. Not only does the Momentum jacket look good, but it is also highly technical and comfortable.

    XTM Thea Ski Jacket

The Thea Jacket from XTM is a versatile jacket for the hill or the apres. XTM has combined their eco-conscious recycled fabric with a perfluorocarbon-free (no nasty stuff) water repellent treatment for one of the first certified carbon neutral ski jackets! It has a 15K/10K waterproof and breathability rating, so it will keep you warm and dry in every weather condition. The faux fur trim on the hood is removable, so you can wear the Thea your way! XTM offers a great size-inclusive ski wear range, and the Thea Ski Jacket is included.

    Picture Fresya Ski Jacket

The Fresya Jacket from Picture is another ski jacket made from recycled materials like sugar cane pulp. This eco-friendly jacket is a lightweight, 2-way stretch shell for women who like to layer up depending on the conditions. It has superior waterproofing and features a highly breathable membrane built-in. This shell jacket has a soft Coremax liner that eliminates cool spots and keeps you warm all over.
