The best snow flicks to keep your inner powder hound happy.

Dreaming of the Aussie ski season (at least for me) is an excellent way to fill the hot summer months and personally, dreaming of that first tree run has helped me to escape the monotony of quarantine.

But, now with most of Australians in various stages of lockdown and the Victorian ski season grinding to an unceremonious halt, winter looks a little different in 2020.

Today we have the responsibility to #stayhome and do our bit to help #flattenthecurve for the good of all. So, while we can’t hit the slopes today, we can dream. Dream of that first run through untouched pow or a bluebird groomer day with the mountain to yourself, dream of the trips we will take and the mountains we will visit when life finally goes back to normal.

So, to make this quarantine more enjoyable, and to entertain your inner rider, here are the best snow films that will help to transport you to the mountains, from the comfort of your living room.

This list would be incomplete without Jeremy Jones, who calls this the most important film he ever made! This movie combines snowboarding and environmentalism in California’s High Sierra.

    Roadless - Teton Gravity Research

For those who thought skiing was just, skiing. You were wrong. Follow some of the world’s best deep into the wilderness and learn about the different ways you can make it down a mountain with planks strapped to your feet.

The best part of this movie is the soundtrack: get it here: http://win.gs/SameDifferenceSoundtrack

As the Crow Flies - Pirate Movie Production

    Boom! - Nitro Snowboard

Nitro has one of the best teams out there, the perfect combination of action, good times and awesome vibes.
