Habitat skateboards was founded in 2000 by Joe Castrucci and produces eco-friendly products, with high quality components creating enjoyable and responsive rides. Founded by skateboarders for skateboarders, Habitat Skateboards also produces a range of apparel, skateboard parts and accessories such as wheels, bearings and more.
Habitat skateboards has created several eco-friendly skateboard decks including both a bamboo deck and a cork & hemp deck! Habitat skateboards also uses water based ink, glue and clear coats to complement their environmentally friendly skateboards. Habitat skateboard decks are made with 7 ply maple using their skylite construction to ensure their decks are lighter without jeopardising strength. With laminated tops of skate decks, the bottoms produce less friction.
