    Product Description

The K2 Almanac is a medium-flex all-mountain twin built for intermediate to advanced riders who want a single board that handles groomed runs, park features, and off-piste terrain with equal confidence. Twin Combination Camber pairs a rockered tip and tail for forgiving float in variable snow and powder with a cambered midsection that locks into hardpack and generates pop through turns and off side hits. The BAP Core and Carbon Backbone™ work together to keep the board lively underfoot without adding unnecessary weight, giving the Almanac a snappy, responsive feel whether you're lapping the park or hunting soft snow off-piste. Heading into the 2027 season, the Almanac's Volume Shift™ geometry means riders can run it 3–5 cm shorter than their traditional length for quicker response and easier swing weight without sacrificing float.

    Features
    • Flex rating 5 out of 10 — medium flex that balances playful manoeuvrability on park features with enough stability at speed on groomed runs and hardpack
    • Twin Combination Camber profile (Rocker / Camber / Rocker) — the cambered midsection delivers edge hold and pop while the rockered tip and tail provide catch-free initiation and added float in powder and variable snow
    • Volume Shift™ geometry — ride this board 3–5 cm shorter than your traditional length for reduced swing weight and quicker response without losing surface area for float
    • Carbon Backbone™ — a carbon reinforcement running the length of the board adds torsional stiffness and snap, improving energy transfer and ollie power across all terrain
    • BAP Core construction — a lightweight wood core layup that keeps the board responsive and reduces fatigue on longer days across mixed terrain
    • Centered 4000 Base — a durable sintered base with centred placement for consistent glide and ease of tune maintenance across groomed runs and off-piste conditions
    • 2x4 Insert pattern — broad stance adjustment range suits a wide variety of riding styles and allows precise setup for both park-oriented and all-mountain orientations
    • BioResin construction — plant-based resin used in the laminate reduces petroleum content in the board's manufacturing process, lowering the overall environmental footprint
    About K2

K2 Skis & Snowboards was founded in 1962 in Vashon Island, Washington, USA, by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner.
