    Product Description

The 2025 K2 Excavator is a stiff, directional all-mountain snowboard built for advanced to expert riders who charge hard through variable snow, off-piste terrain, and deep powder days with equal aggression.

The ICG 10 Carbon Fiberglass construction combines a biaxial fiberglass weave with 10 integrated carbon stringers for a lively, responsive feel, while the Carbon Power Fork twin carbon inlays in the tail deliver explosive pop and precise edge control when driving out of turns on hard pack or crud.

The Volume Shift design philosophy lets riders size down 4-6cm from their standard length, translating to a more maneuverable feel in tight off-piste situations without sacrificing the float and drive that the Directional Camber profile provides across all conditions.

    Features
    • Directional Camber Profile (Rocker-Camber) provides edge grip and stability on groomed runs and hard pack while the rockered tip floats naturally into powder and variable snow
    • ICG 10 Carbon Fiberglass weaves biaxial glass with 10 integrated carbon stringers for a responsive, torsionally stiff ride that rewards committed, powerful skiing
    • Carbon Power Fork places twin carbon inlays in the tail for aggressive snap and rapid edge-to-edge response when driving hard through turns
    • S1 Core is built from responsibly sourced, renewable materials and carries a 5-year warranty for long-term durability and peace of mind
    • Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base is hard, resilient, and ultra-fast straight off the lift, reducing maintenance frequency while delivering premium glide across all snow types
    • Volume Shift technology allows riders to size down 4-6cm from their usual snowboard length for a more nimble, playful feel without losing float or directional drive
    • SnoPhobic Topsheet uses a textured snow-shedding surface to keep the board light and clean during laps, reducing snow buildup on the topsheet
    • Flex rating: 7 out of 10 -- stiff enough for high-speed charging while retaining enough give for dynamic, responsive riding in off-piste terrain
    About K2

K2 Skis & Snowboards was founded in 1962 in Vashon Island, Washington, USA, by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner. The company started as a fiberglass ski manufacturer, producing a revolutionary ski design that featured a torsion box construction, which became the industry standard. In 1976, K2 introduced the first high-performance ski boot, which further cemented their reputation as an innovative company.

K2 has also been at the forefront of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, sponsoring some of the most talented athletes in the world and producing gear specifically designed for park and pipe riding.

In addition to their focus on innovation, K2 has also been committed to sustainability and social responsibility. The company has implemented environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and has partnered with organizations to protect mountain ecosystems and promote outdoor recreation.
