    Product Description

The 2024 K2 Hypnotist is a stiff, performance-driven twin snowboard built for intermediate to advanced riders who want explosive response across groomed runs, park laps, and variable snow conditions. The Carbon DarkWeb™ and Carbon Backbone™ work together to load energy through the tips and release it with snappy pop, while the SpaceGlass™ tip and tail construction reduces swing weight and minimises chatter on hard pack. The BAP Core blends a tri-species renewable wood construction to keep the board lightweight without sacrificing the lively, responsive feel that aggressive all-mountain and park riding demands. Riding on a Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 base, the Hypnotist delivers ultra-fast glide straight out of the bag with minimal maintenance required.

    Features
    • Twin camber profile provides powerful edge hold on groomed runs and hard pack while offering symmetrical performance in both directions for park and freestyle riding
    • Carbon DarkWeb™ construction increases overall board response and stability, adding snap and pop to the tip and tail for aggressive ollies and landings
    • Carbon Backbone™ pre-curved carbon fiber strip between the inserts loads and releases energy efficiently, delivering lively, springy pop throughout the board
    • BAP Core tri-species renewable wood core balances strength and low weight for a ride that feels quick and responsive without being fatiguing
    • SpaceGlass™ tip and tail reduces swing weight and tip chatter, keeping the board predictable and controlled at speed on hard pack and variable snow
    • Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 base is hard, resilient, and ultra-fast, offering premium glide with the durability to handle repeated use across mixed terrain
    • Flex rating: 7 out of 10 — a stiff, performance-oriented feel suited to confident intermediate through advanced riders
    • 2x4 insert pattern offers wide compatibility with most binding systems and allows precise stance customisation
    About K2

K2 Skis & Snowboards was founded in 1962 in Vashon Island, Washington, USA, by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner. The company started as a fiberglass ski manufacturer, producing a revolutionary ski design that featured a torsion box construction, which became the industry standard. In 1976, K2 introduced the first high-performance ski boot, which further cemented their reputation as an innovative company.

Over the years, K2 has continued to push the boundaries of ski and snowboard design, introducing new technologies such as the Triaxial Braiding process and the Rocker profile, which have become industry standards. K2 has also been at the forefront of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, sponsoring some of the most talented athletes in the world and producing gear specifically designed for park and pipe riding.

In addition to their focus on innovation, K2 has also been committed to sustainability and social responsibility. The company has implemented environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and has partnered with organizations to protect mountain ecosystems and promote outdoor recreation.

Today, K2 Skis & Snowboards continues to be a leading brand in the industry, offering a wide range of equipment for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
