    Product Description

The K2 Passport is a mid-stiff all-mountain snowboard suited to intermediate to advanced riders who spend most of their time on groomed runs but regularly venture into powder and off-piste terrain. The Directional Rocker/Camber/Rocker combination profile delivers edge grip and pop through the midsection while the rockered tip and tail float in soft snow and absorb variable snow conditions without deflecting. The AI Core paired with ICE™ 50 Tri-ax Glass and Carbon keeps the board light and responsive, translating energy efficiently into turns and reducing fatigue on longer days. Heading into the 2027 season, the K2 Passport continues to stand out as a versatile, direction-driven shape built around the Sintered 4000 Stone Ground Base, which holds wax well and maintains speed across a wide range of snow conditions.

    Features
    • Directional Combination Camber Profile (Rocker/Camber/Rocker) delivers camber-driven edge hold and rebound underfoot while the rockered tip and tail provide lift in powder and smoother entry into turns on groomed runs
    • Flex rating of 6 out of 10 offers enough stiffness for high-speed stability and carving on hardpack without sacrificing the forgiving feel needed in choppy or off-piste snow
    • AI Core construction keeps the board lightweight and lively, reducing swing weight and making the Passport easier to redirect on variable terrain
    • ICE™ 50 Tri-ax Glass with Carbon reinforces the board's torsional response, adding precision through heel and toe edge engagement and maintaining board integrity at speed
    • Sintered 4000 Base with Stone Ground finishing absorbs wax deeply for lasting speed and requires less frequent waxing across changing snow conditions throughout the season
    • Directional shape places the stance slightly setback, improving float in powder and adding drive through the nose when riding off-piste or in variable snow
    • Terrain ratings of 8 for powder and 4 for park reflect a board built primarily for open-mountain riding rather than technical park work, making it a strong choice for riders who prioritise off-piste and groomed performance
    • BioResin construction replaces a portion of petroleum-based resin with plant-derived alternatives, reducing the environmental footprint of the board without compromising strength or flex consistency
    About K2

K2 Skis & Snowboards was founded in 1962 in Vashon Island, Washington, USA, by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner. The company started as a fiberglass ski manufacturer, producing a revolutionary ski design that featured a torsion box construction, which became the industry standard. In 1976, K2 introduced the first high-performance ski boot, which further cemented their reputation as an innovative company.

Over the years, K2 has continued to push the boundaries of ski and snowboard design, introducing new technologies such as the Triaxial Braiding process and the Rocker profile, which have become industry standards. K2 has also been at the forefront of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, sponsoring some of the most talented athletes in the world and producing gear specifically designed for park and pipe riding.

In addition to their focus on innovation, K2 has also been committed to sustainability and social responsibility. The company has implemented environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and has partnered with organizations to protect mountain ecosystems and promote outdoor recreation.

Today, K2 Skis & Snowboards continues to be a leading brand in the industry, offering a wide range of equipment for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
