    Product Description

The Lib Tech Skunk Ape Camber is a high-performance all-mountain freestyle board built for larger, advanced to expert riders who want serious power and float across groomed runs, off-piste terrain, and side hits without sacrificing park capability. Magne-Traction serrated edge technology bites into hard pack and variable snow where a standard edge loses grip, while the HP (Horsepower) Construction keeps the board light for a platform its size, reducing fatigue on long days and chair lifts. The directional twin shape pairs a floaty ATV nose for pow days with a centralized camber profile that delivers the precision, pop, and aggressive response that committed camber riders demand. For the 2027 season, the Skunk Ape Camber continues to be refined by Lib Tech's experiMENTAL Division team riders, making it one of the most thoroughly tested big-guy power freestyle boards available in Australia and New Zealand.

    Features
    • Flex rating 7 out of 10 — stiff enough for powerful edge-to-edge transitions and charging groomed runs, with enough give for freestyle movement in park and on side hits
    • Magne-Traction serrated steak knife edge technology (Patent #7823892, #8511704) places 7 strategic edge serrations along the contact points, converting icy hard pack into predictable grip where smooth edges wash out
    • Traditional centralized camber profile maximises energy transfer to tip and tail, delivering precise edge hold, responsive pop off jumps, and a locked-in feel on steep groomed terrain
    • Directional twin shape with a relaxed floaty ATV nose increases surface area at the front end, giving bigger riders earlier lift and better float in powder and off-piste conditions
    • HP (Horsepower) Construction uses a lighter, environmentally considered layup that reduces swing weight for easier butters, presses, and front-foot-light chair lift rides
    • Extended 60% Aspen / 40% Paulownia core blends Aspen's lively snap with Paulownia's lightweight dampening, reducing arm fatigue and chatter on variable snow
    • Sintered knife cut base absorbs wax deeply for fast glide and long-lasting speed on groomed runs and backcountry approaches
    • Eco sublimated bio beans top sheet and birch internal sidewalls reduce the environmental footprint of the build without compromising structural integrity or impact resistance
