    Product Description

The Lib Tech T.Rice Golden Orca is a high-performance directional all-mountain snowboard built for advanced to expert riders who demand elite-level capability across powder, groomed runs, and freestyle terrain alike — the Natural Selection-winning Orca DNA reimagined with freestyle evolution at its core. Hybrid Directional C2X Rocker/Camber contour delivers aggressive edge hold on hardpack carves while the lengthened rocker nose surfs effortlessly through powder, and Magne-Traction serrated edge technology bites into variable snow and crud where conventional edges lose grip. The extended Firepower Hemlock Construction core — blending 60% sustainably harvested Makah Hemlock with 40% Paulownia — pairs with Tri-AX/Carbon X glass to produce explosive pop and precise response, while the newly engineered switch-friendly power kink tail rides short and snappy on hardpack yet floats cleanly through switch freestyle takeoffs and landings. For the 2027 season, the Golden Orca stands apart as the rare board that bridges a 10/10 powder rating with a volume-shifted shape — ride it 1–3 cm shorter than your normal board to unlock a surfy, powerful ride without sacrificing edge control or air time.

    Features
    • Hybrid Directional C2X profile — lengthened camber zones deliver locked-in edge control on groomed runs and hardpack while shortened rocker between the feet keeps the nose and tail surfing through powder and soft snow
    • Magne-Traction serrated steak knife edge technology with 7 strategically placed edge serrations bites into hard pack, ice, and variable crud where a straight edge would slip
    • Firepower Hemlock Construction with extended 60% Makah Hemlock / 40% Paulownia core produces a lively, powerful flex with efficient pop off side hits and natural terrain features
    • Tri-AX / Carbon X fibreglass laminate adds torsional stiffness and snap for precise high-speed carving and explosive ollie response without adding unnecessary weight
    • Switch-friendly power kink tail is engineered to feel short and poppy on groomed runs while absorbing and floating through switch freestyle landings and deep powder turns
    • Flex rating 8 with All Mountain 9 / Powder 10 / Park 5 terrain ratings — a stiff, confidence-inspiring ride that excels off-piste and in the backcountry but still handles side hits and natural jumps
    • Volume-shifted directional shape — ride this board 1–3 cm shorter than your normal board length for a surfy, manoeuvrable feel without losing float or power
    • Ocean Bound PBT recycled top sheet and sustainably harvested Makah Hemlock wood core reflect Lib Tech's commitment to reducing environmental impact across the board's construction
