    Product Description

The Mammut Alugator Pro Light is a high-performance avalanche shovel built for backcountry skiers, ski tourers, and mountaineers who need a reliable, fast-deploying tool in avalanche rescue situations. The hardened and anodized aluminum blade — the largest in the Mammut shovel range — cuts through compacted avalanche debris efficiently, while the automatic spring lock on the oval telescopic shaft allows quick, precise assembly under pressure. The straight blade back makes the Alugator Pro Light equally useful for cutting clean snow profiles, and the attachment holes support use as a snow anchor or rescue sled component. At 645 g with a compact collapsed length of 61 cm, this shovel delivers professional-grade performance without unnecessary weight in the pack.

    Features
    • Hardened and anodized aluminum blade resists deformation when cutting through dense, compacted avalanche debris
    • Largest blade in the Mammut shovel range (24 cm wide × 27.5 cm long) moves more snow per stroke during rescue
    • Automatic spring lock on the oval telescopic shaft enables fast, one-handed assembly in high-stress situations
    • Stabilization ribs and a sharpened, tilt-resistant blade with integrated steps maximise digging efficiency and blade rigidity
    • Straight blade back allows precise, flat snow profile cuts — useful for avalanche assessment and companion rescue
    • Ergonomically shaped T-grip transfers force efficiently during heavy shovelling without fatiguing the wrist
    • Attachment holes built into the blade support use as a snow anchor or as a component in a field rescue sled
    • Weight: 645 g | Collapsed length: 61 cm | Extended length: 86 cm | Shaft collapsed: 44 cm | UIAA 156 certified
