    Product Description

The Salomon Abstract is a freestyle-focused mid-flex snowboard built for intermediate to advanced riders who want to express their style across park laps, street features, and wherever the mountain takes them. Rock Out Camber delivers the pop and edge hold of traditional camber with just enough lift in the tips to keep the ride playful and forgiving, while the Quadralizer sidecut adapts the board's contact through turns to suit a wide range of speeds and snow conditions. For the 2027 season, the Abstract stands out with Ghost Carbon Beams and a 30% bio-based resin construction that keeps weight low without sacrificing the snappy response freestyle riding demands. Whether you're hitting groomed runs, lapping the park, or hunting side hits, the Abstract removes the barriers between what you think and what you ride.

    Features
    • Flex rating of 5 out of 10 gives the Abstract a mid-flex feel that responds well to both technical park tricks and casual all-mountain riding without being too stiff or too loose.
    • True Twin shape means the board rides identically in both directions, so switch riding, park lines, and street features feel as natural as riding forward.
    • Rock Out Camber profile provides the energy and edge grip of traditional camber underfoot, with a subtly rockered tip and tail that add playfulness and help the board release cleanly at low speeds or in soft snow.
    • Quadralizer sidecut uses multiple sidecut radii across the edge to widen the board's sweet spot through a turn, making it responsive and controllable across a range of terrain and riding speeds.
    • Ghost Carbon Beams and TRIAX HD Fiberglass in the core construction add torsional stiffness and snap without adding significant weight, improving ollie height and board feel underfoot.
    • Royal Rubber Rails and Freestyle Edge Bevels work together to soften rail landings, reduce edge catches on boxes and rails, and make pressing and buttering more accessible.
    • Sintered base with a Fine Stone Finish and Natural Wax treatment offers fast glide out of the box and absorbs future wax applications efficiently for lasting performance.
    • FSC certified wood core with 30% bio-based resin and ABS Sidewalls reflect Salomon's commitment to reducing environmental impact without compromising board durability or ride quality.
