    Product Description

The Salomon Pulse is a soft-flexing all mountain snowboard built for beginner to early-intermediate riders who want a forgiving, catch-free experience on groomed runs as they build confidence and technique. Flat Out Camber keeps the board flat underfoot for a stable, predictable feel, while Bite Free Edges reduce the chance of unexpected catches on hardpack, letting riders focus on progressing their turns rather than managing the board. In the 2027 season, the Pulse carries forward its directional twin shape, striking a balance between easy turn initiation and enough directional drive to handle variable snow conditions as skills develop. An extruded base and natural wax treatment keep maintenance simple and cost-effective, making the Pulse a practical first board for Australians and New Zealanders heading to the slopes.

    Features
    • Flex rating 2 out of 10 — a soft, forgiving flex that absorbs mistakes and reduces the physical effort required to initiate turns, ideal for beginners learning edge control on groomed runs.
    • Flat Out Camber profile keeps the board flat base-to-snow for a stable, balanced ride that minimises tip and tail catch while still providing enough contact for controlled edge engagement.
    • Bite Free Edges along the contact points between the bindings and the tip and tail soften aggressive edge engagement, lowering the risk of catching an edge and making progression more consistent.
    • Directional twin shape offers symmetrical flex for ease of learning while a slight directional stance bias provides added stability when riding forward at speed on groomed terrain.
    • Aspen wood core combined with BIAX MD fiberglass delivers a lightweight, lively feel with enough dampening to smooth out rough or variable snow without adding unnecessary weight underfoot.
    • Extruded base with standard stone finish and natural wax treatment is straightforward to maintain and repair, reducing the long-term cost of ownership for new riders investing in their first setup.
    • 4X2 insert pattern provides broad stance width adjustability, accommodating a wide range of rider builds and allowing stance refinement as technique develops.
    • FSC certified wood core and ABS sidewall construction reflect Salomon's commitment to responsibly sourced materials, supporting sustainable forestry practices in the board's production.
