The 2027 Salomon QST 106 is a wide-waisted all-mountain freeride ski built for intermediate to advanced riders who spend their days charging off-piste, hunting powder, and pushing into variable snow and steeps. BST Basalt and Fiberglass Fibers work together to deliver a lively yet controlled flex that absorbs vibration at speed while maintaining responsiveness through unpredictable terrain. A Full Poplar Woodcore keeps the ski light and balanced from tip to tail, while the Cork Damplifier inserts at the tip and tail reduce chatter and smooth out rough, chopped-up snow. With a Freeride Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile and a 106mm waist, the QST 106 floats effortlessly in deep snow while retaining enough camber underfoot to engage edges confidently on hardpack transitions.
