The 2022 Volkl Yumi 84 ladies ski is an intermediate level ski that is suited to many different conditions and would be an ideal first ski for most skiers. Users of this ski will feel comfortable as they start to progress their abilities and become more advanced and aggressive with their skiing.
The Yumi is 84mm underfoot making it agile in the turns but also giving it enough surface area to provide some flotation. The tip and tail rocker adds playfulness in variable conditions and will allow intermediate skiers to have fun with their progression. The ski features Volkl’s 3D Radius sidecut which means it turns on a dime, whether it is faced with hardpack conditions or lumpy moguls. A glass frame and titanal binding platform supporting the multi-layer woodcore allowing for extra stability and dampening at high speeds. We recommended mounting this ski with a binding from the Marker Royal Family such as the Marker Squire 11 ID.

My favourite skis so far!
