    Product Description
The Lib Tech Glider Snowboard 2022 is the women's specific version of the brand's most iconic model, the Skate Banana. Just like the original, the Glider is the definition of a ride everything, everywhere board. The original banana profile is the perfect combination of traditional camber edge security and the catch-free float a rocker board, making it super easy to initiate turns. Great for the quickest progression for the day 1 beginner, while intermediate and advanced riders alike will enjoy the way it rides because the potential to push the Glider is truly unlimited. From hardpack to the deepest pow, glide easily through it all with this all terrain joy ride.
    Features
    • Original Banana Profile: This is the easiest to ride, and the best profile for easy progression. Perfect in spring time at Mt Buller in the slush, jibbing around and spinning without fear of catching an edge. Original Banana features a rocker section between your feet which allows the full length of the board to be in contact with the snow. Under your feet are mild camber sections that rely on your weight to activate. This is where your edge control and precision come from. It is also the part of the board that springs up to provide pop on your jumps. The nose and tail are both rockered up like a banana which has a dual purpose; firstly, it provides great forgiveness and ease of riding – you’ll find this board won’t catch edges much!! Secondly, it will float on powder and through the crud of chopped up runs or spring slush. You’ll find this Original Banana Profile on boards that are designed for freestyle riding in the terrain parks and playing around and finding hits on the easier terrain at the resort.
    • Original Power Construction: provides you with a light weight yet strong core. These boards are constructed using 75% Aspen and 25% Paulownia woods laid in strips to give you great strength and liveliness. Then there is a strong strip of Birch that runs the length of the sidewalls that protects the edges from hard rail hits. The core is wrapped in recycled UHMWP (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene!!) which is fancy speak for really durable plastic. The tip and tail have larger sections of this for awesome impact protection, but the UHMWP runs all around the board. The fibreglass used is laid out in either two (Bi-Ax) or thee (Tri-Ax) directions, which helps to create the tip to tail flex rating, and side-to-side or torsional stiffness. A torsionally stiffer board will move from edge to edge more quickly for faster and sharper turns. The base is Eco Sublimated TNT which is hard-wearing and nice and fast and takes wax well. Some models feature a sintered base which will soak up wax really well and run super-fast! These are classed as OP+ Construction
    • Magne-Traction technology: is like a serrated knife along your edge providing edge hold like you’ve never felt! This worked a treat for me on my last trip to Perisher when it was really solid, and they hadn’t had much snow. The runs were hard packed (ice!!) and I was able to hold my edges really well without feeling like I was going to slide.
    • These edge serrations, or wavy bumps, are placed at just the right places to take full advantage of your weight on the board and how it bends to ensure that you always have an edge in the snow. Even in the iciest conditions, Magne-Traction will bite and hold!
    • Core: 75% Aspen / 25% Paulownia
    • Glass: Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Fiber
    • Top: Flower Textured Eco Sublimated Poly Top
    • Base:  Eco Sublimated TNT (Fast & Low Maintenance)
    • Birch Internal Sidewalls
