The Volkl Secret 102 women's skis are a fantastic choice for advanced and expert level lady skiers who are looking to shred the entire mountain at high speeds. This new offering from Volkl is the widest ski with titanal frame, and as such, blends the line between all-mountain carving and sublime freeride performance. A wider version of the Secret 92, the 102 has the extra width and stiffness to take you wherever you want to go. Expert level skiers will certainly glean the best performance out of these skis, as they are stiff and burly and love high speeds. The titanal frame puts a lot of emphasis on edge control, so for how wide they are, they're very adept carvers. When you tip them over, they hook right up and bring you around in the turn. The tip and tail rocker combined with the width make them fun floaters as well, but they ski more like a battering ram rather than a ballet dancer, so be prepared for some serious performance. The 3D radius sidecut is perfect for altering your turn shapes, and you'll love how they make a bunch of different turns depending on speed and pressure. Carbon tips lighten the swingweight somewhat, so they're quicker than expected, but overall, the 2020 Volkl Secret 102 is a burly ski that loves high speeds and a deft touch.
